New to the shop, we have a very special, 2013 Gibson 1934 Original Jumbo Flattop Reissue. This is now a discontinued piece; only 100 of these guitars were ever made.
Gibson keeps true to their stellar Reissue line with this fantastic recreation. It features and Adirondack Spruce Top, Mahogany Back and Sides, Single ply Top and Back Binding, and Scalloped Top Bracing. The Mahogany neck features a rosewood fretboard and a period correct soft V profile, making it comfortable for all players.
Couple all that up with a Traditional Rosewood rectangle open slot bridge with a bone saddle, bone nut, hide glue dovetail neck joint, and a hand applied nitrocellulose finish and you get big, booming lows that sit perfectly in balance with a crystal clear top end.
The traditional AJ style headstock is adorned with the classic "Gibson" script style logo in Mother of Pearl inlay and Vintage Waverly Tuners round out the vibe of this faithful recreation.
While technically, the guitar isn't "new", it's everything but. It is in immaculate condition, including the OHSC and an unregistered warranty card.
Don't wait on this incredibly rare and special guitar, it will be gone before you know it!
