Used - 2007 Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop
This is an excellent example of a 1960 reissue classic Les Paul Goldtop. The Goldtop is the crown jewel of the Les Paul models revered for its elegance and warm tones. This one can be had at an amazing price for the simple fact that the neck has been repaired at the headstock. The work appears to have been done by an expert luthier and the guitar still sings as one would expect a Les Paul to. Weighing in at 8 lbs. 12 oz., this guitar is nice and light with a warm resonance. The two humbuckers eminate clear, ringing, fat tone that sits perfectly in a mix. The neck is slim and comfortable with a small ding at the heel which is shown in the pictures. This is the perfect guitar for someone who always yearned for a Goldtop, but couldn't handle the price. Comes with original hardshell case.
