Summary: Making its debut in 1982, this gorgeous Gold top was created to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Les Paul. Designed to look more like a '57 or '58 model with a pair of Pat No. humbuckers & featuring a 30th Anniversary logo in the 19th fret inlay. An exceptional piece, with superb tone & playability. Professionally inspected & set up by our in house luthier, this beautiful limited run Les Paul is ready to go to a good home!

Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap in excellent condition gold finish, cream binding and single ply cream pickguard.

Neck: This guitar features a mahogany neck with a slim ‘60s profile, a bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoidal inlays, 30th anniversary inlay at 19th fret and Kluson style tuners with green keystone pegs. Scale length- 24 3/4” Nut Width- 1 11/16”

Pickups/Hardware: Pickups are Gibson Pat. Number humbuckers with a 3 way toggle, 2 volumes, 2 tones with gold speed knobs, Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware.

Cosmetics: This guitar in great condition with no breaks, cracks or visible repairs. The gold top finish has a nice aged tint to it - There are a couple minor finish checks in the top around the edges and a few minor dings and scratches on the body, but nothing too severe. The only major blemishes are a few dings on the bottom side which are through the finish and exposing the wood underneath. A bit of buckle rash is visible on the back and there are some dings in the finish around the binding. One of the tuning peg shafts is slightly bent but it does not not effect tuning stability whatsoever. The neck is smooth and free of nicks or dings but there are some tiny cracks around the fret ends in the binding. The frets themselves are in wonderful shape with no gouges and plenty of life left in them.

Playability: This Les Paul has been set up, inspected and restrung by our in house luthier and strung with new 10 gauge strings. The action is low, the neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning, and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard.

Modifications: One of the strap button screws does not appear to be original.

Weight: 9 lbs, 11 oz.

Case: This Gibson ships in its original hardshell case, fully packed, padded and insured.
