Description

This has to be one of my favorite models Gibson offered in the 70s! Up for sale is a 1973 Gibson Limited Edition ’54 Reissue Les Paul Custom in its original ebony finish. What makes this model special is the one piece mahogany body, one piece neck with a chunky rounded 50s profile, fretless wonder frets, and the P90 / staple pickup combination. When we initially received this guitar it had two stress cracks on the back of the neck which were painstaking repaired by Seattle luthier Joe Riggio. Joe removed the finish on the part of the back of the neck, repaired the cracks and refinished and aged the finish. The work is great and undetectable to the naked eye. Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original hardshell case.
