1971 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Reissue, Extremely rare, excellent cond. , all orig. , no issues, one of only 25 made with Tunamatic and Stop tp., Gibson made this reissue calling it a 58 however it was actually a 56 reissue as it has 2 P90 pickups as well as a tunamatic and stop tp. The majority of these did not have a tunamatic, they were set up like a 54 with stop tailpiece only. This guitar features a solid one piece mahogany neck and body, carved maple top, small headstock as well as thin binding in the cutaway which was obsolete by this time, light weight, 1 10/16″ nut with NO volute, Kluson tuners, a great sounding and playing guitar, this guitar is basically the same as the 1st 68 reissue only this guitar maintained the uniform thin binding in the cutaway like the orig. 50,s where as the 68 did not, Extremely rare and Highly collectable, w/ohc $12,000
