2017 Gibson 58' Reissue Murphy Aged Les Paul Tom's Tea, Very Good, Original Hard
Summary: Not your average Gibson Les Paul…..This is a Tom Murphy aged and painted Wildwood Spec Gibson Les Paul TH58 Aged and it sounds and looks incredible. Tom Murphy is a legend in the guitar industry and you can see and feel the difference when you play this instrument.
Body: Lightweight solid mahogany body with a hand selected 2-piece figured maple top attached with Hot Hide Glue.
Neck: This guitar has a 12” radius, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width. The neck is 1 piece mahogany with a long neck tenon and a rosewood fingerboard attached with Hot Hide Glue. The neck style is a 50’s C style and it feels and plays great. This guitar has Cellulose trapezoid inlays and 22 frets. The frets are in great shape and have a ton of life left in them.
Pickups/Hardware: 2 Custom Bucker pickups wound to Wildwood specs, 2 volume knobs & 2 tone knobs with a 3-way switch. This guitar has nickel hardware, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys, ABR-1 bridge & a lightweight aluminum stop tail piece. This guitar has vintage accurate plastic parts.
Cosmetics: This instrument has been aged by Tom Murphy so it does show visible relic-ing wear with checking & lots of awesome character.
Playability: This guitar plays great. We set this instrument up with 10’s and it plays with no buzzing and no dead spots.
