2001 Gibson 59-335 Cherry Red, Very Good, Original Hard case

Summary: This is a beautiful Gibson Custom Historic ES-335 with a wonderful glossed cherry finish. The model # on the Certificate of Authenticity is 59-335. This semi-hollow has a great feel and a rich tone.

Body: Bound semi-hollow construction with Cherry maple top, back and sides

Neck: Bound mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays. The nut width is 1 11/16” and the scale length is 24 ¾”. The frets are in good shape with lots of life left in them. This neck is pretty chunky but it is also very comfortable to play.

Pickups/Hardware: Dual Gibson PAF humbucker pickups, 2 volume, 2 tone controls and 3-way pickup selector. Nickel Hardware. Gibson Deluxe Kluson style tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This instrument does have a few small dings on the top but you have to look pretty hard to find them and they are only visible when you are up close to the instrument. The back also has a few small scratches and some light buckle rash but no major dings and nothing you can see unless you are holding the guitar in your hand and you are looking for it.

Playability: This instrument has been set up with 10’s by our in-house technician. This Gibson plays great with no buzzing and no dead spots.
