1924 Gibson A-1 Mando. Sunburst spruce top, dark stained birch back and sides with a mahogany neck and an ebony fretboard. White top bound body and replaced bottom binding. All parts are original including the tortoise shell pickguard. S.N. 73584 The headstock has been scraped in certain areas and touched up. I do know that the "Lloyd Loar" era mandos are pretty much the best sounding oval hole styles ever made. He also designed the Snakehead headstock. It has Waverly tuners and an adjustable truss rod. She does black light but I do have my suspicions. All that being said she just sounds and plays beautifully. This is a player only, certainly not a collectors piece. Someone did love this mando. She does come with a chipboard case as well. If you'd like any more info on this mando or could give me any more info. please contact us as we usually get back the same day. Thanks, BH
