This is a 100 year old mandolin in remarkable condition. It's in such great condition that we believe there to be a very old refin' job on this one. It's just a bit too shiny to be 100 year old lacquer finish. Hence, we're pricing this at about 1/2 of what an untouched one might bring.
Sounds and plays great. This one also has the tuner button inlay which went away on these in 1918. 100% crack free, it looks like someone may have glued the binding at the end of the fingerboard and left some glue residue.
