Here's an incredible Gibson A style mandolin from 1916. What an amazing instrument! It features a solid carved spruce top, maple back & sides, ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dotmarkers, ebony headstock veneer, and an elevated tortoise shell pickguard. The original adjustable side clamp has a patent stamp of July 4, 1911 on its side. Everything is original on the mandolin, and it's in really good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The only thing missing is the tailpiece cover. Tonally it's full and clear with great projection. Plays fantastic! Hard shell case included...
