Summary: This vintage Gibson is such a great player. The neck profile feels similar to an old Gibson electric and the small mahogany body produces a crisp “parlor guitar” esc tone but with great projection and note definition for a ladder braced instrument. It is in great vintage shape, is all original and the frets have just been professionally leveled crowned and polished. This beauty is ready to be played and cherished for many years.

Body: This vintage Gibson has a beautiful mahogany top with mahogany back and sides and a black pickguard. This B-15 has a very thin finish, simple one ply black rosette and no binding.

Neck: The neck is mahogany with a small headstock, rosewood fingerboard, 24 ½” scale length, 20 frets, pearloid dot inlays and 1.565” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: It has a mahogany bridge with rosewood saddle, height adjustment screws, 3 on a plate tuners with white buttons and one strap button at the butt of the guitar.

Cosmetics: There are no breaks, cracks or structural issues of any kind and it is overall in fantastic vintage condition. There’s lots of finish checking all over the body and a little buckle rash on the back. The nut has been changed out at some point to a bone nut and there is a small cut in the bottom of the nut slot on the bass side.

Playability: This little Gibson plays great. We put a new set of 12’s on it & made sure the neck is straight & the truss rod is working. If you love a smaller neck then you will totally love playing this vintage Gibson. The frets have just been leveled, crowned and polished and they look and feel great.

Weight: 3 lbs, 15 oz.

Case: This instrument comes with a vintage chipboard case & we will ship it fully packed, padded and insured!
