Gibson's representative model of small body "B-25".
The first small-body Gibson was made about 120 years ago,
In 1902, the L-1 was introduced, and in 1932, the L-00, the prototype of the B-25, was released.
In 1942, the L-00 was replaced by the LG-2 (sunburst) and LG-3 (natural).
In 1962, the LG-2 was replaced by the B-25, and in 1963, the LG-3 was replaced by the B-25 Natural.

This time we have in stock a 1964 B-25 Cherry Sunburst.
The bright cherry sunburst color is impressive.
The head angle is 17 degrees and the nut width is 42mm, which are the specs of the early 60s.
Spruce top and mahogany body are just like traditional Gibson acoustic guitars. Bracing pattern is X bracing.
In terms of sound, the crisp mid-range image familiar from the J-45 and J-50 is retained, while the tight tone is concentrated with a suppressed bass, giving the impression of a distinctive Gibson tone.

It is also equipped with the original plastic bridge, and when you actually try it out, you will be amazed at how wide the range is.
Compared to the late 60's vintage guitars, which had a guttural attack, this guitar has a more expansive mid-low range, giving it an authentic vintage Gibson acoustic sound.

Although it has been over 60 years since the model was born and is a bit overshadowed by the J-45 and J-50, famous Japanese artists such as Tamio Okuda, Sugashicao, Gen Hoshino, and Hanana Uemura have used the B-25, making it a guitar with more appeal than just a sub for the J-45.
