An absolutely stunning '66 Barney Kessel both in aesthetics and sound! These archtops are slightly less sought after in comparison to other Gibson archtops, but you can't overlook the incredible build quality and playability these offbeat jazzboxes offer. This particular example is original excluding an earlier ABR-1 bridge, replaced tuners, and the bridge base has been secured to the top with screws - overall it is in impressive shape with expected checking, some playwear, and minor dings from typical use/transport. Sounds incredible acoustically with a dry woody tone - and the PAT# PUs can push you wherever you want to go from smooth lovely jazz tones to rocking high gain crunch with tons of low-mid richness. This is a killer '60 archtop! Includes original hardshell case.

We offer a 72 hr approval on all guitar & amps (unless otherwise noted). Customer pays all shipping & insurance costs both ways unless otherwise negotiated by sales staff. Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
