1979 Gibson Bicentennial Thunderbird Natural w/ Hard Case
Vintage original 1979 Gibson Bicentennial Thunderbird in a Natural finish.
Bass is very resonant and has a fantastic sound. It has no cracks or breaks! That is certainly the good news!
Original pickups have classic vintage tone - and a monster tone it is. You can get lots of different tones from the two different pickups.
This bass has been refinished Natural, looks like it was black originally from the finish under the control plate.
One pot is original, two have been replaced and it looks like there was a filled tap switch in the controls. There are also two holes under the bridge from another bridge at some point, the original bridge is on there now.

We use UPS ground for shipping. We can work out overnight shipping on a case by case basis. Buyer pays all shipping charges.

After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
