Offered for sale;
Used 1998 Gibson Les Paul Studio serial number 90838389. This guitar is in very good condition, neck and frets are fine, a nice solid guitar.
When this guitar first came to us it was fitted with EMG pickups. Many people played and checked out the guitar but it didn’t really grab anyone. We theorize that as great as EMG pickups are in many respects, the guitar would appeal to more players with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups. We chose to put in a Duncan ’59 (SH-1b) in the bridge position and a Duncan Alnico Pro II (APH-1n) in the neck position. We then added the gold pickup covers to make a nice visual statement.
As most know, Les Paul Studios are basically Les Paul Standards without neck and body binding, but still featuring a carved maple top on a mahogany body and a rosewood fretboard on a mahogany neck. The Duncan pickups suit this guitar well, it plays and sounds great.
Own a good guitar at a great price.
Gig bag included.

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
