This is the last of the R9 Brazilians: Vintage Cherry Sunburst VOS with lots of Red in the finish, DARK Brazilian fingerboard, Nickel Hardware, massive 3D Flame(see pics) - this one is really nice!
Great weight at 8 lbs 4 oz, very comfortable neck with .87/1st and .99/12th. This guitar sounds loud unplugged, sounds killer plugged - a very resonant guitar that shows Gibson has taken the R9 to it's highest level ever!
This is the 6th Brazilian I've had - they are getting rave reviews from their owners. The limited Brazilian run is over - I was lucky to get this one. The new owner will be very happy!
