1957 Gibson Country Western

1957 Gibson Country Western in excellent condition. This is all original with the sole exception of the repro tuners. An excellent crack free example of one of Gibsons most handsome models. Essentially a dressed up J-50 the Country Western was introduced in 1955. This example came to us with a number of loose braces all of which we expertly took care of with hot hide glue. It has never had any other work done and is an amazing all original survivor from 1957. The neck is perfection in feel and form. The sound is prototypical of the mid 50s Gibson Jumbos. Excellent lively bass and midrange without being overly woofy like some. An exciting guitar in every regard. Includes hard case.
