I purchased this clean 1960 Gibson Country Western from the son of its original owner a few weeks ago. I was grateful that he provided the picture of his dad playing the guitar live in the early 1960s. I took it directly to the luthier I work with who reported that all the braces inside had tight factory glue joints, the neck angle was proper and not in need of a neck reset, and that the bridge was still glued tightly. All it needed was a careful cleaning and set up to be a spectacular playing example.
