1968 Gibson Country Western Near Mint, Hard, $3,495.00

I’d have to call this 1960s Gibson Country Western no more than one or two degrees off dead mint; it even still smells new. It’s beautiful, it’s got all the tones of 1960s recordings with that super-compressed acoustic sound. The neck, like everything Gibson did around 1967-68, is smallish around the back for those who like the comfy thing, and it plays just like it did on day one, in 1968, probably even a little better thanks to a super setup in our own workshop. It doesn’t get much better than this in a late-1960s Gibson acoustic. $3495 w/hsc
