Clean and wonderful sounding early 1961 Gibson Country Western CJN in its original natural finish. This example is an early 1961 and still features the earlier pickguard and bridge design as well as the desirable wide 1 11/16th nut width. Overall this guitar is in wonderful condition with scattered checking throughout the body. There appears to be a stable hairline stress crack on the back of the neck from the 3rd to 5th fret. It’s tough to say how it got there as it did not originate from the headstock or heel like you would imagine an actual break would. There also is a hairline top crack running along the bottom edge of the pickguard which is incredibly common for Gibson flat-tops from this era. Otherwise, this guitar is very clean. Pro setup in-house and comes complete with its original hardshell case.
