Gibson / 1967 Country Western -SJN-

Gibson produced Country Western as a natural version of Southern Jumbo from around 1955.
Like the Southern Jumbo, it has mahogany sides and back, double parallelogram position marks, and the natural color of the top creates a rustic atmosphere.
Although the specifications themselves are almost the same as those of the Southern Jumbo, the sound character of both models is strangely different.

The combination of the narrow neck and ceramic adjustable saddle produces a crisp, clear, fast-rising percussive sound.
This is truly a stroke-oriented instrument.

As for the appearance, there are some scuffs and scratches around the soundhole and other areas. The pickguard, bridge, saddle, and other major parts are original and in very clean condition considering its age.
The pegs have been replaced with those from the 70's and are still shining.

Compared to the Southern Jumbo, the Country Western is a little less popular, but you will definitely feel its charm when you see and play it in person.
