Offered for your consideration is this virtually unplayed 2014 '54 Reissue. What a visual and sonic masterpiece!
Most of the '54 LP Reissues I come across are either plain tops or gold tops. This special guitar, however, has been given a gorgeous ribbon flame Maple top along with a honey burst gloss finish. I have always loved the tone of the P-90 pickups and the great resonance of a wrap-tail bridge of a '54 Les Paul, but some folks have expressed concerns about their ability to properly adjust the intonation of guitars with a vintage style wrap-around bridge piece. To address this issue, I've replaced the stock Gibson bridge that came on this guitar with a marvelous Tone Pros adjustable wrap-tail bridge piece and studs. The new hardware maintains the great sustain and resonance benefits of a wrap around bridge, but provides the ability to intonate each string individually.
This 2014 spec beauty weighs in at a reasonable 8.6 pounds and is superbly balanced. The neck is somewhere between a '58 and a '59 in terms of it's size, with depth measurements of .95" at the first fret, increasing to 1.00" at the twelfth fret. The pickguard has not been installed and no holes have been drilled in the body of the guitar for it's installation. The folks at Gibson thought the top was too beautiful to hide. However, I have laid the pickguard in place in a couple of my photos so that you can see what it would look like with the pickguard installed.
This guitar is in virtually unplayed condition, frets included. It is completely stock except for the addition of the Tone Pros adjustable bridge. It comes in it's original brown Lifton style case along with the stock bridge and studs, the certificate of authenticity, hang tags, tools and the uninstalled pickguard.
If a high-end Les Paul flame top with P-90's and an adjustable wrap around bridge appeals to you, I don't think you will find a better example than this gorgeous guitar. Make it yours!

Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery.
