Summary: The Standard Historic 1960 Standard Les Paul from Gibson Custom delivers the tone, looks and feel of the original ’60, slim neck Les Paul. It features hand-crafted beauty, authentic vintage Gibson tone and historic appointments plus historically accurate aniline dye, hide glue neck construction and the renown sound transference that comes with its long neck tenon. The most important details that made the original the legend are artfully revived for a convincing vintage playing experience.

Body: Single cutaway Solid body Les Paul. This instrument has a mahogany body with a maple top. This instrument has a VOS aniline dye finish.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a 1960 Les Paul neck shape and an Indian rosewood fretboard. This guitar has a 24.75” scale length, a 12” radius, and a nut width of 1.687”. This guitar features pearloid trapezoidal inlays on the neck. This instrument has 22 medium frets & the frets are in great shape with very little wear.

Pickups/Hardware: This Gibson has a Custom Bucker in the neck position & a Custom Bucker in the bridge position, 2 volume knobs & 2 tone knobs. This guitar comes with nickel hardware & Kluson Deluxe tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape and it comes with the original hard shell case & COA. This guitar looks old and vintage because the Gibson factory made it that way! This guitar was a Guitar Center exclusive with the “Black over Blue” finish. This guitar has wonderful factory checking all over & the blue undercoat shows up on the top, back & the back of the neck.

Playability: This guitar plays really great and it feels super-light for a LP. This instrument plays with no dead spots or buzzing. The action is low & the tone is awesome.
