Here is a killer player-grade Gibson Custom Shop Historic '57 Les Paul Junior that is perfect for those looking for one of these great guitars on a budget. First off there are no breaks or repairs. The guitar is structurally rock solid and plays great with no issues.
The reason the guitar is priced lower is that the pickup is changed to a Seymour Duncan with slight route in the cavity, there are 5 holes on the back of the headstock for some reason, the tuners are changed to high quality Gotohs, and the finish on the body was lightly sanded to get a satin look and some finish checking. The satin can be buffed out if so desired to give it more of a glossy look. If you ever wanted a satin '57 Les Paul Junior here is your chance!
The guitar comes with a non-original hard case, COA, and paperwork as shown. If you are looking for a player '57 Reissue Junior, here is one that plays and sounds excellent and it's for less than $2k!
