2001 Gibson Custom Shop '58 Reissue Les Paul Standard Washed Cherry

Some guitars are just legendary! For your consideration a 2001 Gibson Custom shop ’58 Reissue Les Paul Standard in cherry! This guitar so closely resembles the legendary “Lucy” that we decided to add a set a Grover to complete the look! “Lucy” is a famous guitar that started its life as a gold top and was owned by John Sebastian then was traded to Rick Derringer (who refinished it in Cherry) then bought by Eric Clapton and finally was gifted to George Harrison.

Specs! We replaced the original tuners with a set of Grovers to complete the “Lucy” look. Mahogany neck with a depth measuring .85″ at the first fret and 1.04″ at the 12th fret. 24.75″ scale length. Bound rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. 22 jumbo frets in excellent condition. Nut width measures 1-11/16″. Mahogany body with a maple top finish in cherry. Two ’57 classic Gibson Humbuckers. ABR-1 bridge with stop tail piece. Comes with original hardshell case, hang tags and warranty card (Pre C.O.A). Weighs 8 pounds and 15 ounces.

This is a killer way to get something unique but still have a fantastic Les Paul! Plays like a dream. Super comfortable and fast neck. The weight is the perfect balance for sustain and comfort. Full round bass notes and crisp clear treble. Neck pick up is warm & defined while the bridge pick up is clear & articulate. A great replica of a legendary axe!
