I've played-owned-bought and sold many HUNDREDS of old Gibsons since the early '70's.Once in a while a recent one comes along that has "the vibe"....this SG is one! Played gently a few hours, so no flaws from use. Mild VOS treatment. Duncan Antiquities upgrade, and all documentation. OH YEAH..........6 1/2 lbs! VERY lively and resonant. Plus.....a cool mid 50's type TV (referred to back then as "lime") A truly GREAT guitar.
BTW - not certain on year. Numbers on these are sketchy, but I'm going to dig deeper soon.
