Back in the age of ever-expanding rock 'n' roll, the Les Paul design evolved into the tasteful and killer SG shape that we know and love today, and the Gibson Custom Shop has taken everything you love about the old models and transformed it into this amazing new guitar.
The Les Paul SG Custom Shop was masterfully-built in America from a comfortable, lightweight and iconic double-horned mahogany solidbody with a 1960s SlimTaper profile mahogany neck attached home to a smooth and perfectly easy-to-play Indian rosewood fingerboard — home to twenty-two medium jumbo frets with nitrate trapezoid inlays adorned for a killer and stylish look. An ABR-1 bridge is attached, with a lightweight aluminum stopbar for perfect intonation.
A pair of powerful Custombucker Alnico III unpotted humbuckers are equipped in this Les Paul SG, throwing a vintage-style tone your way that screams with the power of the early sixties. Two volume and two tone controls can mix your sound into a perfect blend, topped off by a three-way toggle switch.
