Crazy fancy new old stock Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard like the day it was made in 1998, this guitar has seen no usage whatsoever and has remained virtually unplayed for the last 25 years. Creative special order model or limited custom shop run, (have not seen another like it) utilizing a special light metallic green finish with nickel hardware and pearloid appointments. Even the knobs have inlayed pearl tops and look stunning in contrast with the green as well as the other pearled features. I thought for a moment that the knobs might be not be factory original and took them off to examine them, Gibson had fashioned a brass sleeve around of the the potentiometer posts to allow installation of the pearl inlayed knobs that utilized a set screw. Wow haven't seen anything quite like it from the relatively conservative folks at Gibson, nice. This instrument is as new, zero playing time with no modifications or repairs. Straight neck with a working truss rod, all original electronics, all solder joint are factory original unmolested. Perfect NOS instrument with original case and wrench, typical Les Paul Standard feel with all Standard appointments, the Custom Shop features are largely cosmetic but do contribute greatly to the collect-ability and eventual high value. A beautiful piece and great investment, only $3999. Thanks, VGA
