1994 Gibson Custom J-200 by Ren Ferguson!
Here is a very nice one-off by the Gibson Montana luthiers in 1994. The label is signed by Ren Ferguson and John Walker. Some very cool specs including abalone all over, fancy tortoise guard, deep sunburst finish, rosewood back and sides, rosewood headstock overlay with wide abalone trim, script logo, flowerpot headstock inlay like L-5's, black stinger on the back of the headstock, ebony bridge and fingerboard. This guitar is all top quality and not something to be made again. The only thing that we would change is the truss rod cover for a wide bevel one which would really make this J-200 pop!
Ren Ferguson was Gibson's premier Master Luthier at Gibson Montana when this guitar was made. He was responsible for some of the greatest Gibson Montana pieces to ever come out of that factory. The guitar is in beautiful condition with the exception of some finish checks on the top as usual with 90's Gibson acoustics. It's easily in excellent condition and was collector-owned. The guitar comes with the original case, paperwork and all the case candy as shown. Here is your chance to get this rare and likely unique beauty.
