• Fourteen-Fret Rosewood L-00
  • Neck is an L-12 Archtop Neck
  • Fully Original
The finest example of an extremely rare model, this one is with a rosewood L-00 body and a 14 fret L-12 (Jazz guitar) neck. With just four of these L-00/L-12s known to exist, these are a true mystery to the muddy Gibson history, from 1938 with original details that became standard many years later in a guitar that is completely original in every detail. Rosewood Gibson's are extremely rare and sound particularly wonderful, and are thus much sought after. This one has to be the rarest rosewood Gibson of all!
This example is in excellent condition, with finish wear, no cracks, we've reset the neck and leveled the board, so it plays like a dream.

Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
