1965 Gibson Dove – Natural
This smokey 1965 Gibson Dove comes in its original Natural finish. Compared to earlier examples of the model, most of the specs are the same, with the only real difference being that by 1965, the truss rod cover was white with a black trim. Playing this particular guitar is a dream, as it has a really comfortable neck feel and original frets with plenty of life left. The sound of this guitar is incredible; whether it’s soft picking or hard strumming, it delivers in spades. This guitar was played, as evidenced by some of the wear by the pickguard and general light playwear throughout. This piece is free from any changed parts or touch-ups, with the only non-original feature being an added strap button at the neck heel.
