Extremely Rare 1969 Gibson EB-0 Left-Handed Bass!

Collector-Grade Lefty Bass. Beautiful classic Gibson EB-0. Lefties from the 1960's are rare as they were by custom-order and it took time to get them back then. Which makes this bass rare. Not only is it a rare 1969 Gibson EB-0 Left-Handed bass, but it's also a Double-Pickguard model from the factory. The bass is completely original and comes with the original hardshell case.

As mentioned before, these sometimes took years to complete because of tooling etc at the Kalamazoo Gibson Factory, this bass wasn't completed until early 1970 according to the pot codes. You'll also see this on Double-Necks and other extremely rare custom-order models. The serial number dates to 1969 and has all 1969 specs including no Made in USA stamp, no volute, and cherry finish.

The bass plays and sounds excellent! The condition is excellent and other than a couple of small marks here and there it is near mint. It is marked "2" but 50 years later, who knows why. It was a very well-cared for instrument by the original owner. Comes with the original hardshell case.
