Description

Rare model. It's a 1961 but still a slab body. The bass is 100% original including the conventional reverse Kluson tuners. Almost all of these have Banjo tuners which leads to issues. The original black pickup is strong and sounds excellent. It's a great playing bass with good low action and a straight neck with good frets. The pots date to 1960 whereas the serial number is inked on starting with a "1" so 1961. The bass has had a neck reset in the past. There are some buckle marks on the back, but overall it's in very good condition.
