1969 Gibson EB-1 Jack Bruce w/ Original Case!

Very cool 1969 Gibson EB-1 Violin Bass. This is the same model that players like Jack Bruce of Cream and Felix Pappalardi of Mountain used at times. Nice big booming sound. This bass plays well with good action. The bass is all original except the lead on the pickup and the jack plate (2 screw holes). The pickguard is missing along with one of the schaller tuner covers. The bass is from 1969. No Made in USA stamp, no volute.

The bass is in fairly nice condition. NO CRACKS! There are small dings and scrapes all over but overall has a nice look to it. The bass comes with the original hardshell case, original end pin (to play like an upright), and a bonus direct replacement Hipshot bridge for improved intonation. This is your chance to get a really cool EB1 bass!

Weight: 10 lbs. 2 oz.
