Description

One of our favorite Gibson finishes! 1967 Gibson EB-2 bass in its original and beautifully aged Sparkling Burgundy finish! No cracks or breaks to be found. The sleek 30 inch short-scale neck is totally clean minus a couple of small chips finish chips and is perfectly worn. Nice rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dots and original frets with some wear but still ringing clean.

It’s overall in nice condition, with the expected finish checking. The Sparkling Burgundy has faded into a lovely “Root Beer” color with the tan lines of the original color visible where the bridge mute used to be. The back of the bass and back of the neck are in great shape as well. The frets are in good shape as well – no dead spots anywhere. The button for the “Baritone” switch has chipped off, but all electronics function as they should. All original less the removed bridge mute.
