Wonderful, rare Gibson neck shape, find it only in the very very late 1950s; a little wider, a little deeper, rounder, just great. A fairly rare takeoff on Gibson's tried and true deep-body ES-125 with its iconic P-90 pickup, but with the then-new and hip thinner body style, most often found only on an ES-120T with a Melody Maker pickup in it. Amazingly, no one has ever fooled with this guitar; it’s still got everything it left the Gibson factory with: hot P-90 pickup, solid rosewood compensated bridge, original tailpiece (never broken!), pickguard (!), control knobs, tuners (replaced buttons, as ever and way better off for it). Some fingerboard wear but virtually no fret wear, probably result of its long-time owner having had equally long fingernails, and finding, as Steve Earle says, “no money past the fifth fret”. Love this guitar. $2595 w/ssc
