Description

Have a look at this shimmering 1967 Gibson ES-125TDC in Sparkling Burgundy! This “entry-level” archtop model features two closely balanced dog-ear P90 pickups with volume and tone controls for each. It’s unusual to see this model in a Custom Color and even more so in this minty condition! What might explain the use of Sparkling Burgundy is that for a very brief period of time in this era, Gibson stopped producing Cherry finishes, and replaced that standard color with Sparkling Burgundy. This is also marked as a factory 2nd, but this is most likely a superficial issue with the wood grain that isn’t visible with the opaque finish. It only has a replaced truss rod cover, but everything else is 100% original!

Overall Condition: 9, some weather checking, light playwear
