1954 Gibson ES-140 3/4 Sunburst
Up for grabs is this 1954 Gibson ES-140 in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Super cool 3/4 size hollow body, that is certainly unique! Off the bat, the original P-90 pickup was replaced with an authentic 60's Gibson Pat Number Sticker mini humbucker....with no extra routing. So it still has the characteristics of a P-90, but with the mini, it's quieter, fuller, and with a little more clarity. It's such a great match to the guitar!! At some point the guitar had different tuners on, and now has the correct style repro's. Playability is fantastic, with buttery playing low action. It's got some good volume acoustically as well!! The body has some cool checking throughout, and really overall is in nice shape. There's nothing else like this beauty out there! Killer guitar....
