1954 Gibson ES-175 Blonde, Very Good, Soft, $4,000.00

Who doesn't love a blonde arch top? Single pickup ES-175's aren't the most popular Gibsons on the planet but the old ones are well priced and are great guitars. Everybody needs at least one blonde and at least one jazzer and this kills those two birds for a lot less than that blonde 335 you can't convince the wife that you need. This is from 1954 and is in very nice condition. It has some checking and some light staining on the back-not sure what from but it plays great and sounds mellow and woody and all those other adjectives I never get to use. All original except for an added strap button and a repro tailpiece. The case is a modern semi hard Gator or you can have the crappy cardboard case it's been in since the 70's.
