Neck Details: One-piece mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard, double parallelogram pearloid inlays, and truss adjustment at the headstock. -- This has been refretted by one of our in-house techs. The board was planned during this procedure to remedy a maxed truss rod. The truss rod now functions perfectly and plays well with medium gauge strings set to low action. -- There is a repaired crack on the back of the neck at the bass of the headstock. The finish has been touched up through this area.

Electronics: Original stamped patent number pickups. Three-way switch with independent volume and tone controls. The two visible pot codes date to 1981 and 1983.

Pickup Measurements: Bridge: 7.2K, Neck: 7.3K

Hardware: Original hardware except for replaced bridge base. The actual Nashville bridge appears to be original.

Modifications / Repairs: Has been refretted -- Repaired crack on the back of the neck at the base of the headstock. The finish has been touched up in the area. -- Non-original bridge base.

Case Details: TKL brand hard shell case

Cosmetic Condition: This ES-175 shows light finish checking throughout with a few minor dings and scratches in various areas. There is a small crack in the back of the headstock opposite the nut. This crack has been repaired and the finish touched up.

Tech Notes: Currently setup with 12-gauge flatwound strings, low action, and optimal neck relief. The tall wide frets show little to no signs of play wear as they are new. The serial number dates this Gibson from 1984.

We give you 3 days from the shipping date on Vintage instruments, and 15 days on New instruments. Credit card returns are issued a credit for purchase price. Refunds are made for product value only, excluding shipping and handling charges. New, Unopened items: You may return most NEW, untouched, unopened items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we'll also pay the return shipping costs.
