Description

Here we have a 1959 Gibson ES-175D in very good to excellent vintage condition with only moderate playwear and a few small dings. If you are an aficionado of ES-175s, this one will give you a thrill right down to your toes. It really checks all the boxes. Plays great. Sounds great. Looks great. It’s hard to find a guitar from this era in nicer condition than this. Just some light playwear, a few micro-dings that are hard to find, and changed tuners and strap buttons, but otherwise all-original and in excellent condition.

Kluson-style replacement tuners. Comfortable nut width of 1 11/16 inches. Mahogany neck with a scale length of 24.5 inches and a neck depth of .8125 inches at the first fret and one full inch at the twelfth fret. Bound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays and 12 inch radius. 20 original frets in very good condition. Two PAF stickered pickups, neck pickup measuring 7.6 ohms and bridge pickup 8.2 ohms. Original enclosed pots. Non-original strap buttons. 5-ply original pickguard. Beautiful sunburst finish.

Set up in-house to play its very best. You can take this one to the studio or on tour whenever you’re ready. Comes with its original hardshell case, also in excellent condition. A dream guitar.
