This one is in rough shape! This is a super cool vintage Gibson ES-175D. The serial number and patent number sticker on the pickups dates this guitar to have been manufactured between 1970 and 1971. This one is certainly not in the most collectable shape anymore, with the (old) armature refinish, tons of wear, and the top concaving a bit. Despite its downsides, this guitar plays nice with low action, and the pickups sound phenomenal!
This guitar shows lots of cosmetic wear. Most notably, the body has warped and caved inward and the finish is in pretty rough shape with some cloudy discoloration on the back of the body as well as various dents, scuffs, and scratches etc. The pickups and hardware show some oxidation and scratches and one of the tuning pegs is crooked but still functional. The fretboard is warped and would benefit from some new frets. The Gibson emblem and logo are partially chipping off and the headstock has plenty of dings and scratches. The volume and tone knobs appear to have white paint/marker over the faded numbers along with red marker over the dials. There's also a wooden block between the bridge and bridge pickup. Despite the cosmetic condition this guitar is in, it still plays reasonably well and sounds like a nice Gibson.
The bridge has been replaced, and the guitar has had an armature refinish, otherwise this guitar is original.
