1957 Gibson ES-175D Cherry Red, Good, Original Hard, Call For Price!
RARE 1957 Gibson ES-175D in Original Factory Cherry Red Finish and Early Non-Sticker PAF Pickups. 1956 Factory FON starting with letter V suggests that this guitar was factory routed for PAF's earlier than '57. Serial #A25147 is from aprox March/Apr of 1957. Condition is Good with lots of checking and a bit of moisture damage crazing to finish on bottom bout. Replaced Grovers with original Kluson tuners. Crude binding repair at end of bass side of fingerboard. New fingerboard end binding. I've seen a Red ES-175D's from 1959 and a few in the early 60's but thats it! This could be the earliest 50's Cherry Red Gibson Electric with PAFS!!
