Description

This Gibson ES-225 was made in the USA in 1957. This is a rare double pickup example in blond. It shows some play wear, but is a survivor in very nice shape for its age. It is all original except for the plastic tuner tips - this was from the era where they always crumbled. The machines themselves are original. There is a small input jack crack that was repaired. No other cracks, repairs, or structural damage. The guitar has been pro setup in our store. In the 50's you could buy an engraved metal truss rod cover and this one has that from the original owner, named "Ida". The guitar also comes with the original brown and pink hard shell case.
