Description

What a musical guitar. Even with the thin body it is alive unplugged. The middle P-90 is a wonderful tone compared with a neck P-90. It's a bit like a large vs a mini humbucker or a dreadnaught vs a 000 acoustic. There is a definition and clarity that is unique to this pickup placement.
And don't let that wrap around trapeze bridge fool you. Unlike the first Les Pauls, here the strings go over the top of the bar (like the ES-295) making it quite playable.
Originally introduced in 1955 it was the ES-225T (single pickup) that was the first thinline Gibson. This lead to the ES-225TD, ES-350 and Byrdland.
Aside from a pro refret and non original case it is totally straight.
