A rare example of a two pickup ES-225 model in factory "Blonde" finish! This 1959 example has the perfect neck shape you'd expect from a '59 Gibson with a set of features unique to the 225; a fully hollow, thinline body with a single "florentine"cutaway, Les Pau "Trapeze" style tailpiece, full scale length neck, and a great sounding pair of "Dog Ear" P90 pickups. This instrument shines in everything from jazz and western swing inspired tones to gritty, George Thorogood type rock and blues styles. With relatively few two pickup versions shipping between 1955 and 1959, this is indeed a rare model, while the "blonde" finish makes it even more special. This is one of the cleanest 225's we've seen and a fantastic player, as well.
