Description

Here's a 1946 Gibson ES-300 in Suburst finish. Rare all mahogany body example! No breaks, cracks, repairs. 1946 was the first year that a P-90 was introduced on the model, and this one has the rare P-90 with non adjustable pole pieces. Which, sounds incredible! The guitar measures 17" wide, with the early 2 f-hole cutout trapeze tailpiece, clear knobs, and double parallelogram fingerboard inlays. The neck has a full feeling profile, and plays amazing! The action is low from top to bottom, with room in the bridge for future adjustments. And as mentioned, the P-90 sounds incredible. It's full & clear.....while the mahogany body delivers a warmer and more balanced tone that you'd get from maple. The guitar even sounds good acoustic. This is rare bird that's ready to be loved! OHSC included!

Weight- 5lbs 7oz
Nut Width- 1.745"
