This 1960 ES-330 is unusual. The big difference between a 59 and an early 60 is the neck profile. A late 59 can have a medium/slim profile that is the same as an early 60. No news there. But this is one of the very few early 60 ES guitars I've seen with the big fat early 59 profile. This might as well be a 59. It measures .88" at the first fret and .98" at the 12th. That's the early 59 profile on the nose. Gorgeous and affordable. ES-330’s, while up in the current market are still a bargain. 330’s are wonderful, versatile guitars that can go from smooth jazz to hard rock in a heartbeat. They’ll do 60’s psychedelic like nobody’s business (I used to play one back in the 60’s). They will howl art high volume and whisper at low. This one is all original and a stunning example of this rare beast. There aren’t a lot of double pickup blonde 330’s and it makes sense to grab one before the price of this blonde gets out of reach. Never had an upper strap button which is how they came from the factory. If your 330 has one, it's been added and it's not all original. Nice brown Gibson badged case in excellent condition
