Summary: The Gibson ES-330 is a fully hollow double cutaway, meaning it lacks the center wood block found on its semi-hollowbody counterpart, the ES-335. Also in contrast to the 335, the 330 was built with a pair of P-90 pickups as opposed to humbuckers. The actual model number of this guitar is the ES-330TD: the TD stands for thinline double pickup. This particular ES 330 TD is referred to as a “long neck” since they extended the neck joint a little further out in ‘67 making the higher frets much more accessible. The 2 original P90 pickups sound fantastic and it is in excellent vintage condition. It has just been set up by our in house luthier and it ships in its original Gibson chipboard case.

Body: The arched hollow-body features a bound maple top and back, mahogany sides and sunburst finish.

Neck: The mahogany neck joins the body at the 19th fret, has a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, 22 frets, 24 ¾” scale length and 1 9/16” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 original P90 pickups, 2 volumes, 2 tones, top hat knobs, tune-o-matic bridge, trapeze tailpiece, aftermarket Gibson Deluxe tuning keys with green keystone buttons (original tuners are included in the case) and 3 way toggle. The pickguard has a Gibson logo that has been mostly worn off but was only done for a very short time making this quite rare.

Cosmetics: This Gibson is in excellent vintage condition. It looks like it lived in its case most of its life and was never abused or gigged. There are some very minor nicks and dents here and there and some finish checking but nothing major. There are no cracks, breaks, structural issues or visible repairs.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with only some very minor wear in the first few frets.

Modifications: The tuners have been changed but the originals are in the case and the strap buttons have been swapped out for strap lock strap buttons.

Weight: 6 lbs, 4 oz.

Case: This guitar ships in its original Gibson chipboard case which has a few tears but functions just fine with all the original latches and handle. We will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
