Description

This 1962 Gibson ES-330TD in its original Argentine Grey finish is astounding, and it’s the only one we’ve ever seen! Argentine Grey was a popular acoustic finish in earlier years for Gibson and was sparingly used on various ES models in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The rare finish on this particular instrument is incredibly preserved, with hardly any notable wear! While most ES-330s were equipped with trapeze tailpieces, this is equipped with a sideways vibrola for a bit more versatility. This example has holes for the trapeze tailpiece; however, they were never used and still have the original polishing compound in them! The neck fills the hand nicely and has a highly comfortable taper up the neck. The contrast of the black dog-ear P-90s looks incredible with this finish, and they sound fantastic, too!

Overall Condition: 9.5
